Goodnight My Little One
July 27, 1944
Goodnight, goodnight my little one;
It's bed time now my darling son.
To sleep, to sleep you now must go;
It's time to sleep I'll have you know.
In slumberland you may travel far
And ride the crest of your favorite star.
So dream of what tomorrow brings,
Life and love and other things.
To please the heart of a little boy,
Enriching life, creating joy.
